Best time to visit Ooty and Kodaikanal is considered from the month of October to June. The temperature stays between 10° to 20° C in the month of October-November, in the month of December & January temperature stays in the range of 4°C to 12°C, February- March temperature 12°C to 20°C, whereas April-May can be felt a little hotter when temperature reaches at 21°C to 28°C, and in the month of June you can expect a little downfall in the temperature with the minimum of 16°C.

Ooty Lake :
This Lake is spread on over an area of 65 acres, this is one of the most attractive tourist places in Ooty, and this is also an artificial lake build by John Sullivan in 1824 for fishing and travel purposes.
Rose Garden :
This is a botanical garden which is spread on more than the area of 2 hectares. This is also the largest rose garden in India. Various kind of varieties are available like: Ramblers, Miniature Roses, Hybrid Tea Roses, Polyanthas, Papagena, Floribunda, Yakimour and unusual colours of roses like black and green. It was established in 1995. This garden is taken care by the Tamil Nadu Horticulture Department.
Botanical Garden :
This garden is spread on 22 hectares, it was opened in 1847, it has around a thousand of species, and it is being operated by Horticulture Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. Here you can find the collections of Cork tree, Paper bark tree, and Monkey Puzzle Tree etc.
Nilgiri Mountain Railway :
it was started in the year 1908 by British Govt. It is added to UNESCO listing in 2005 as an extension to the “World Heritage Site”.
Emerald Lake :
this lake is located near Emerald village in the Nilgiri dist. It is located at the distance of approx 25 KMs from Ooty town. Sunrise and sunset are the popular views to see around this lake.
Kodaikanal Lake :
it is also known as Kodai lake, and located in the Kodaikanal town, Kodaikanal was developed by British and some missionaries of USA.
it is the subsequent series of mountains and most visited place of Kodaikanal.
Pillar Rocks :
Amazing breath taking views, do visit if you are a nature lover. It is just at the distance of 6 KMs from Kodaikanal, blossoming with the fragrance of flowers.
