Bhutan Tour Package– 07 Nights/08 Days – EX MUMBAI

Day 1: Welcome at PARO – THIMPHU (Approx. 65 kms/ 2 hours)

Your trip starts from your arrival at International Airport Paro. After arrival go to the immigration counter for VISA on arrival formalities. After you check-out from airport meet our representative outside the Airport. Get a transfer to Thimphu- which is 65KMs/2 hrs journey.

Thimphu – is the capital of Bhutan and also the biggest city located on the bank of Wang Chuu river. Thimphu is also the residence of the King.

On reaching to Thimphu check-in to your hotel, refresh yourself and Later you’ll be on short sightseeing of Thimphu city (it depends on your arrival time, if time allows then only).

Memorial Chorten– It is one of the most prominent spiritual landmarks in Thimphu. It was built in 1974, the Tibetan-style of Memorial Chorten’s whitewashed exterior boasts richly decorated chapels – one facing each of the cardinal directions.

Stay overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2: THIMPHU

After breakfast in the hotel, you’ll proceed for a full day sightseeing of Thimphu. Mesmerizing trip starts with the sightseeing- Kuensel Phodrang– The bronze statue was built in the eighteenth-century by the King. Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo – It is a small zoo, the king declared that animals should live free, hence the place was declared as a mini zoo. Anim Dratshang (Nunnery), Folk Heritage Museum- Royal Textile Academy & Museum Handicrafts Market, Tashichho Dzong. Return back to hotel and enjoy your night meal and overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3: THIMPHU – PUNAKHA

Get a transfer to Punakha after breakfast at hotel, it will be around 4 hours journey with en-route stops, total 120KM away from Thimphu.

Dochu La – On the way sightseeing Dochu La is a mountain pass which offers a spectacular and panoramic view of Eastern Himalayan ranges. Arrival at Hotel  at Punakha and check-in to the hotel, get refresh and enjoy your dinner with overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 4 : PUNAKHA

Today you’ll be on a memorable full day sightseeing after your morning breakfast at the hotel. Chimi Lhakhang– It was constructed in 1499, and dedicated to the “Divine Madman,” Drukpa Kunley, a saint revered in Bhutan for his heretical teachings and his use of a “flaming thunderbolt” to fight malevolence.

Suspension Bridge – This bridge is one of the longest of its kind in Bhutan after Punakha Dzong stretches the Punakha Suspension Bridge, The bridge connects dzong with the other bank of the Po Chhuriver, Samdingkha, Shengana, and Wangkha. Dzong– Visitors approach the dzong over a long cantilever bridge that spans the Mo Chhu and up a steep flight of wooden steps. Take a back to hotel, enjoy your dinner with stay at Punakha.

Day 5 : PUNAKHA – PARO

Get a transfer to PARO after your morning breakfast at hotel in Punakha, The journey from Punakha to Paro is approx 5 hours and 150KMs. If you reach Paro till afternoon or maximum 2pm then only you can visit some sightseeing in Paro.

Paro –This is pretty beautiful city and picture perfect valley in the kingdom.

Drukgyel Dzong–The meaning of dzong’s is as “Bhutan’s Victory.”

KyichuLakhang– When it was divined that she was preventing the spread of Buddhism, the great seventh-century Tibetan king SongtsenGampo pinned her in place with 108 magically constructed temples

Ta Dzong–The National Musuem of Bhutan

Return back to hotel, Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 6 : PARO

After your breakfast,  get proceed to visit of the famous sites in Paro.

Tiger Nest – From a distance, Bhutan’s most iconic building seems to float, weightless, halfway up a sheer cliff-face, 900 meters (3,000 feet) above the floor of the Paro Valley. As you wind your way breathlessly up the long, steep path towards Taktsang Lhakhang, the monastery periodically reveals itself, rising out of the forest, closer and more solid with each re-appearance.

Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 7 : PARO

After your breakfast, lets proceed to visit Chele La Pass .

Chele La Pass: This is one of the highest point on Bhutan’s Dantakroads, the place is located at 3988 meters (roughly 13,000 feet) above sea level. A Buddhist prayer wheel marked with a quote advocating kindness, and a small hut and seating area.

Get back to hotel at evening and enjoy dinner with stay at Paro.

Day 8 : DEPART PARO

(If flight time is at early morning, breakfast will not be available)

After breakfast get a transfer to the airport to board your scheduled flight back to your home.
