Bhutan Tour Package– 06 NIGHTS/07 DAYS – EX Departure: DELHI & KOLKATA

Day 1: Arrival at PARO – THIMPHU

Trip start from your Arrival at Paro International Airport, just proceed direct to the immigration counter to complete the formalities and you will meet with our representative at the outside of the airport.

Get a transfer to Thimphu which is approx 65 KM and 2hrs journey, reach Thimphu and checkin to hotel, and get refreshed.

Later go for a short city sightseeing of Thimphu.

(Sightseeing won’t be possible if the flight is beyond 2 pm)

Memorial Chorten – The Chorten, with its convoluted golden peak representing the crescent moon and sun, is one of Thimphu’s most outstanding spiritual landmarks. It was built in 1974 in Tibetan-style. Enjoy the dinner and stay overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2: THIMPHU

Enjoy breakfast in hotel then proceed for a memorable tour and sightseeing of Thimpu. Enjoy the sightseeing Kuensel Phodrang- which is a statue and built of bronze, Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo, Anim Dratshang (Nunnery), Folk Heritage Museum, Royal Textile Academy & Museum, Handicrafts Market, Tashichho Dzong. In evening return back to hotel, Enjoy your night meal and stay in Thimphu.

Day 3: THIMPHU – PUNAKHA (Approx.120 kms/ 4 hours)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and take a transfer approx 120 KM /4hrs journey to Punakha. On the way enjoy Dochu La – A mountain pass in Punakha Valley which offers a spectacular 360 degree panoramic view of Eastern Himalayan ranges. You can enjoy your lunch at Druk Wangyel Cafe. Return back to your hotel at evening, Enjoy Dinner & overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 4 : PUNAKHA

Enjoy your breakfast, and go for a full day scenic tour of Punakha. Enjoy in sightseeing Chimi LhaKhang, Suspension Bridge, Punakha Dzong.  Get back to your hotel after a memorable sightseeing, Enjoy dinner and stay in Punakha.

Day 5 : PUNAKHA – PARO (Approx. 150 kms/ 4.5 hours)

Take a early morning breakfast at hotel, and take a transfer to Paro which will be approx 155 KM / 5 hrs journey.
You’ll arrive at Paro by the afternoon and after a short relax go for a short sightseeing of Paro.
Paro – The valley extends from the convergence of the Wang Chhu & Paro Chhu rivers at Chuzom upto Mt. Jomolhari at the Tibetan border to the North. This pleasing area is one of the biggest valleys in the kingdom and is enclosed in fertile rice fields and has a stunning, crystalline river meandering down the valley.
Drukgyel Dzong –The dzong’s name which means “Bhutan’s Victory,”Go through the gate to access a flagstoned courtyard once used for festivals. Beyond this lies the main body of the dzong, where wild strawberries and herbs sprout among the rubble.
Kyichu Lakhang –Paro’s Kyichu Lhakhang is believed to hold the Demoness’s left foot in place. Its tiered roof and luminous white walls, the Lakhang’s age is not directly evident. It is only inside the monastery’s antique heart, the Jowo Lhakhang, that the sanctuary’s long history is blatant.
Ta Dzong – National Museum of Bhutan.
Return at evening and Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 6 : PARO

Enjoy breakfast in hotel and proceed to visit one of the renowned sites in Paro.
Tiger Nest- Also known as Taktsang Monastery – As you wind your way breathlessly up the long, the monastery periodically reveals itself, rising out of the forest, closer and more solid with each re-form.
OR
Chele La Pass: Its one of highest Bhutan’s Dantak roads, situated at 3988 meters above sea level.

In evening get back to the hotel, enjoy your night meal and overnight stay in Paro.

Day 7 : DEPART PARO

(Breakfast won’t be possible if your flight is of early morning)
