Life in Darjeeling, Gangtok and Pelling

Start your Darjeeling Tour and Sikkim Tour by arriving at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. The agent will receive you and will transfer you to the Hotel. After arrival at the hotel, complete all the check-in formalities and then relax into your room. Spend your remaining day at the Hotel.

Today wake up early morning at 4:00 AM and leave to visit Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Then after sumptuous breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Tea Garden, Rock Climbing (Tenzing Rock), Japanese Temple, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Natural History Museum (Closed on Sunday). Later return to the hotel.

Today, after breakfast. Check out from the hotel and you will be transferred to Pelling which is approx 80 km from Darjeeling and that may take 4 to 5 hours. 

After you arrive Pelling. Check-in to the hotel. Take rest and overnight stay at the hotel. 

After having a delicious breakfast, visit to see Pelling beauty. You will be going to witness Khecheopalri Lake, Khecheopalri Monastery, Rimbi Water Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery (17th Century),  Khangchendzonga Water Falls, Rabdentse Palace Ruins (17th Century). Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.

After finishing your breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Gangtok via Namchi (South Sikkim) from Pelling.

Namchi Sightseeings you will going to witness are Sai Mandir, Samdruptse, Tea Garden, Solophok Chardham. Later drive to Gangtok. Arrive at the hotel. Check-in and overnight stay at the Hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Zoological Park, Ganesh Tok, Gonjang Monastery, Hanuman Tok, Bakthang Water Falls, Flower Show, Tashi View Point, Research Institute of Tibetology, Banjhakri Water Falls and Cottage Industries Emporium.

After breakfast, check out for the hotel and transfer to Silk Route via Tsomgo Lake which is approx. 121 Km (Non-stop) that take 5 to 6 hours minimum to reach. Altitude: 5200 ft. / 1585 m East Sikkim,

On the way, visit for Sightseeings which are New Baba Mandir, Tsomgo lake, Kupup lake, Tukla Valley, Jelep La Pass View, Hangu lake (boating can be done at extra payment for tickets payable by the guest directly),  Old Baba Mandir,  Phadamchen, Laxman Chowk, Zigzag Road from Thambi View Point, Zuluk,  Rongli Dam and Kew Khola Water Fall. Later arrive at the hotel for an overnight stay at Silk Route.

Optional - Ropeway at Tsomgo Lake (At extra payment for tickets payable by the guest directly).
Time: 0900 A.M. to 0400 P.M.
Capacity: 6 persons in 1 cabin. One can enjoy the magnificent view of Tsomgo Lake, Nathula & Khangchendzonga Range from the height of 3753 meters (12313 ft.). It is India's highest altitude Passenger
Ropeway.

Note:
1) A Photocopy of ID proofs (PAN Card is not permissible) and Photographs (2 each) of all guests traveling are required for processing of permit.

2) In case trip to Changu (Tsomgo) Lake & Baba Mandir is not possible due to Road or Weather conditions, alternate
sightseeing would be provided.

After having a delicious breakfast, Visit  Shivalaya Mandir at Aritar Road, Aritar Monastery, Dak Bungalow, Mangkhim Top, Viswa Vinayak Mandir Darshan at Rhenock and Lampokhari (boating can be done at the extra payment for tickets payable by the guest directly). Later return to the hotel and overnight stay at Silk Route.

After a sumptuous breakfast, check out from the hotel. This will be the last day of your Darjeeling Tour and Sikkim Tour Package. You will depart for Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station to board your flight or Train.
