Payment Policy:

  • For the land arrangements, we require 25% of the total package cost.
  • After issuing the vouchers, we require 50% of the total package cost.
  • The remaining 25% of the total package cost must be paid 14 days prior to the journey.
  • In case of urgent booking, i.e., less than 15 days to travel, 50% of the total package cost will be required.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • There will be no retention charges for hotel bookings/transportation if cancellation is done within 40 days prior to the arrival of guests. After that, 100% retention will be charged. This cancellation policy is applicable only during Diwali and Christmas periods for groups.

Note:

  • Eravikulam National Park: Timings: 09:00 hrs – 16:00 hrs. Eravikulam National Park is closed during February and March every year due to the breeding period.
  • Tea Museum: Timings: 10:00 hrs – 16:30 hrs.
  • Mattupetty Dam: Timings: 09:30 hrs – 15:00 hrs.
  • Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary Boat Timings: 07:00; 09:30; 11:30; 14:00; 16:00 hrs. No advance ticket booking for boating at Thekkady; guests should purchase tickets directly on arrival. Kindly cross-check the boat timings once you reach, as only a few boats are available for the cruise at Thekkady.

AC deluxe houseboat:

  • Check-in Time: 12:00 noon
  • Check-out Time: 09:00 AM
  • Houseboats are for exclusive use and not shared.
  • Houseboats are accompanied by a navigator and a cook.
  • Meal plan starts with lunch and ends with breakfast (Typical Kerala cuisine; if any other cuisine is required, please inform us in advance. Extra charges will apply, and the guest must bear the additional cost).
  • From 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM, the houseboat will be stationed, and the cruise will resume at 8:00 AM.
  • AC is operational from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM (If 24-hour AC is required, extra charges will apply).
  • The cruise begins at 12:30 hrs with lunch served on board and continues until dusk.
  • At dusk, the boat will anchor in a wide waterway or lake for the night (Backwaters close to boat traffic at dusk as fishermen lay their nets). Other boats are not allowed in the backwaters after dusk.
  • The cruise resumes after breakfast the next day, and guests will be dropped off at Alleppey by 09:00 hrs. Overnight stay will be on the houseboat.
  • Since houseboats are stationed at the bank of the backwater during the night, mosquitoes and waterborne insects may appear, so it is kindly requested to carry mosquito and insect repellent.
  • The choice of food on the houseboat is limited, mostly basic South Indian meals are served.
  • The quality of houseboats cannot be compared with hotel rooms. Houseboat rooms are basic and small. The main concept of the houseboat is to explore the backwater beauty of the region, offering a close connection with nature.

Day 01

Arrive Cochin

So Lets start your 6 day itinerary for kerala tour - 

Arrival at Cochin Railway Station and transfer to the hotel. Check into the hotel. Proceed to visit Cochin sightseeing: Fort Cochin Beach, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Gundu and Willingdon Island, Parikshith Thampuran Museum, Dutch Palace, Bolgatty Palace, Kerala History Museum, Hill Palace Museum, Marine Drive, Marine Walkway, Tripunithura Hill Palace, Santa Cruz Basilica, Navy Museum, and Cochin Antique Shops. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 2

Cochin - Munnar (Tea Garden & Hill Station)

Welcome by our representative on arrival at Cochin Railway Station and transfer to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never-ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the year-round moderate climate make it a haven for visitors. On the way, visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls, Attukad Waterfalls, and Spice Plantation. Check into the hotel. In the evening, take a short visit to Munnar Town. You can see the beautiful estates like a green paradise. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 3

Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing trip of Munnar, covering some major attractions: Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus hylocrius) - the mountain goat of South India. The park is known for its ecological, faunal, floral, geomorphological, and zoological significance. Other highlights include the Tea Museum & Tea Plantation, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Tea Estate, Rose Garden, Photo Point, Honey Bee Tree, and Blossom Park. Shopping and overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4

Munnar – Thekkady

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Thekkady. By noon, arrive at Thekkady. Then, proceed to Periyar Lake, around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (extra cost). This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife, such as tigers, elephants, and deer, at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Visit the Spice Plantation where you can shop for exotic spices. Also, visit the Mullaperiyar Dam. Stay in Thekkady.

 

Day 5

Thekkady – Alleppey

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey. Some of the most popular tourist attractions in this serene land are Alappuzha Beach, Mullakkal Temple, CSI Christ Church, the old lighthouse, and Punnamada Lake. On arrival, check into the hotel. You can also enjoy a motorboat ride (at your own cost). Overnight stay in Alleppey.

Day 6

Alleppey – Cochin Drop

This will be your last day of 06 days kerala tour package:

Morning breakfast, then our representative will take you to the Railway Station/Airport for your onward journey. In this way, your Munnar and Kerala tour ends, giving you exciting memories to cherish for a lifetime.
